Bank of Canada releases 2004 schedule of dates for its policy interest rate announcementsOTTAWA, Ontario, 24 July 2003 — The Bank of Canada today released its 2004 schedule of eight dates for announcing decisions on its key policy interest rate, and confirmed the announcement dates for the remainder of this year. The announcement dates from September 2003 through December 2004 are: Wednesday, 3 September 2003Wednesday, 15 October 2003 Tuesday, 2 December 2003 Tuesday, 20 January 2004 Tuesday, 2 March 2004 Tuesday, 13 April 2004 Tuesday, 8 June 2004 Tuesday, 20 July 2004 Wednesday, 8 September 2004 Tuesday, 19 October 2004 Tuesday, 7 December 2004 All announcements will continue to be made at 9 a.m. (ET).
